Social criteria scholarships are awarded based on household income. The amount varies according to the student’s personal and family situation. Visit the CROUS website to check eligibility and submit your application.
All EBS scholarships are compatible with CROUS financial aid.
Students can submit their scholarship application through the official government portal:
Mes Services Étudiants.
The application for the Social Student File (DSE) should typically be submitted between March and May to secure a scholarship for the following academic year. After completing the registration or re-registration process with the institution, students must also send their provisional notification to the Registrar’s Office for validation.
Note that the scholarship payment depends on consistent student attendance throughout the year.

- CROUS de Paris (simulations available)
Yes, many students opt for part-time student jobs or paid internships during their studies. Our school also offers work-study programs (starting from the 3rd year of the Bachelor Program and 1st year of the Master’s in the Grande Ecole Program), enabling students to finance their
education while gaining valuable professional experience.
FONDS DE DOTATION
The awarding of a scholarship from the Fonds de dotation leads to a recalculation of monthly payments based on your reduced tuition fees. If you opted for a lump-sum payment, the scholarship is automatically deducted from the total payable amount.
EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS & MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
Excellence scholarships and merit scholarships require full tuition fee payment upfront. Later, you will receive a reimbursement for the awarded scholarship amount.
The allocation of a scholarship from the Fonds de dotation is based on several key factors:
- Application quality: A strong application is essential, especially the motivation letter, which plays a crucial role in the scholarship decision.
- Admission interview: Your performance during the admission interview can also impact the scholarship award.
- Financial need: Your income, or that of your parents/guardians, will be considered to assess your financial need.
Excellence scholarships and merit-based scholarships require full tuition payment upfront. Afterward, you will receive a reimbursement matching the value of the awarded scholarship.
There are many housing grants and subsidies, some often unknown, that can significantly reduce student living costs. Here’s a list of eligible aids
→ Assistance for Deposit and Guarantor
- For deposit payments, the Loca-Pass scheme provides an interest-free loan repayable over 25 months. To qualify, you must be a student receiving financial aid, or have a fixed-term contract (CDD) or an internship agreement lasting at least three months.
- For a guarantor, Action Logement offers the Visale guarantee, with the state as guarantor to strengthen your rental application. In case of financial difficulty, the system covers up to 36 unpaid rents in the private rental sector and new homes in the social housing sector.
→ Housing Assistance for Students
- APL (Personalized Housing Assistance): Aid for students in subsidized housing, like social
housing or CROUS accommodations. - ALS (Social Housing Allowance): Applicable to other housing types.
To access these aids (€100-€250 per person), visit the CAF website and use the online simulator
to estimate your eligibility. Apply as soon as you sign your lease since the first payment typically
takes 1-2 months
